United StatesGrowing up in a German and Alsatian family, Thuringer was a common and desired lunch meat in my paternal grandparents' household. It is something my tastebuds recall with deep nostalgia. Periodically I could obtain some from a few national brands until each of those chose to cease production. But, I missed it. Then I saw an ad for Wenzel's and hope it would meet the high standards of my memories. It did thoroughly. So flavorful with just the right blend of spices to give it the proper tang. It will now become a regular in my household.
